KPBC Building Program

Our Proposed Building

God has greatly blessed His work here on the Peninsula. We have grown to over 65 members strong in a rural area of Puget Sound, Washington and now God has laid on our hearts an urgency to begin building His church on our property.

We began to really see God working in our building process in fall 2001 when He allowed us to pay off the land in full. He has also provided us with donations of paint, laborers, and even furnishings including pianos and organs! Now it is time we establish a permanent Southern Baptist Church facility in an area of 10,000 to 12,000 people with no Southern Baptist Church within 10 miles.

Though not able to completely finance this building on our own, with help from others, I believe we will see the building shown here filled with worshippers by the end of the summer this year. We now have over $100,000 in our building fund. We are praying for individuals and churches to partner with us in this building process with a gift of $1,000 or more. Those who do partner with us will have a permanent place in the new building with a nameplate in their honor posted in the foyer of the new sanctuary.

The Site Development Plans have been submitted to Pierce County for review. We pray for the review process to be completed within a few months.

I cannot think of a more exciting way to begin the new Millennium, than for a new Southern Baptist Church to be erected as a cooperative effort of Southern Baptists around the globe. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this exciting time in the life of Key Peninsula Baptist Church.
